The head gasket blew at 131000. We replaced the water pump at that time, along with all new hoses and belts.
Now 1000 miles later we thought the starter went, but we replaced the starter. It still is not working. They think it might be a relay or a censer.
Car looks and runs great other than the above.
Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
I have had much the same problems, I bought mine about 7 months ago from a ford dealership in tullahoma tennessee and it ran like a dream the first month I owned it then all of a sudden things just went haywire. I have replaced the radiator, catyllatic converter, 2 different thermostats, water pump, egr sensor, ungodly amounts of coolant for that thing. And now after all of this I have a man tell me that I need my head gasket replaced, which as you know is gonna cost out the rearend. the man also told me that I would be better off puttin another used engine in it because when you open an engine like that it is like openen pandoras box!? he said that whole engine will go haywire. so as of now I'm just plain screwed. oh yeah my starter, did you have them check to make sure that the ground on the starter to the body was tight because that's what was wrong with mine.
