2000 Cadillac Seville STS review from North America
"Does not ride like a Caddy should"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced original Goodyear tires on Cadillac Seville STS with Michelin Primacy, not for any vibration problems, just going on a long trip and wanted good tires.
After the Primacy tires were installed, the car vibrated badly at 65mph. 1 week later, tire dealer replaced one tire due to being out of round... car still vibrated... took to another tire dealer, they replaced all four tires with Michelin Symmetry tires, same problem... rebalanced... same problem, took to Cadillac dealer, they realigned the car and said nothing else was to be done... all suspension systems were OK,,, but the car still vibrates.
Since I did not have the vibration problem before I replaced the tires, it seems that the Michelin tires are the problem, but after three dealers and two sets of tires, I cannot seem to find a solution... any ideas would be welcome.
General comments?
The Cadillac STS rear end slides to one side when crossing an uneven surface such as bridge abutment, embedded railroad tracks etc...
