1994 Chevrolet Astro AWD EXT review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver side bearings/hub went in 2004 about 160,000 miles.
Other suspension parts next (same time) - tie rods & sway bar type thing.
Front tranny seal about 170,000 (maybe more)
Next major item, lower intake mfd gasket - approx. 178,000 miles.
Found out why the front seal went a few thousand miles ago - was really the tranny pump bushing - was split & chewed up the torque converter & front seal - replaced approx 182,000 miles.
General comments?
No other major problems with car - oil changed frequently & all tune-up done yearly - I get approx 17 mpg city & 25 hwy - not bad for a 94 van.
I LOVE my van and would not trade it in for anything. Two winters ago we got 3+ feet of snow - plows did not plow street for two days, I was the only one who could get out of the drive way and down the street - I gave rides to everyone. I LOVE AWD.
Van has digital dash, a CD player (not stock), tv/vcp (soon to be dvd), interior lighting, had an alarm until baby ruined remote (drool - & too lazy to replace), extra stereo for 2nd row pass., 2nd row pass two chair, not bench like 3rd row. 1/2 hatch and 1/2 dutch door (don't know the technical term for such doors). Only complaint is my 3rd row seat is not power - I have to manually lay it down & is sometimes a pain when my kids toys are in the way. (3 kids)
