2004 Chevrolet Aveo review from North America
"This car is reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Faulty fuel pump after a month of owning it, but the warranty covered it.
Took it in to have the seat belts fixed because of the recall.
Just now at 120,000 miles, I find that my spark plugs need to be replaced for the first time, as well as my oil gasket.
Timing belts was changed at around 80,000 miles. It was shredded. I went in for an oil change and it was discovered.
General comments?
Overall this car has been a great investment. It's taken me up and down the west coast through every single type of weather you can think of.
It's braved two years of pretty heavy winters in Spokane, Wa, two years of hot temps in Yuma, Az, and two years of mild weather in Lubbock, Tx.
This car is great on gas. I've been back and forth between these three cities for the past 6 years, and I knew I could count on my little car.
