2004 Chevrolet Aveo LS review from North America

After driving the car for 5 months, 2500 miles my service engine light began blinking. I immediately took it to the dealership and found that my injectors were bad. Thank God for warranty cause that little service call would have cost 1300 dollars in repair.

After a year some little annoying things began to spring up.

Clock resting itself twice a week.

Power fluctuating so bad I couldn't use my child's dvd player in the car.

Having to turn the key two or three times to start the car.

Repeatedly blowing the door lock fuses about once a month.

Some awful squeaks in the front end.

Nine months, 11000 miles past and I am living with the quirks. Then I saw the light blinking again. Again I took it directly to the dealer. Again the injectors were bad. They are replaced and I go on.

Now to present my light is blinking again and it's in the shop who knows what it is this time, but with 22700 miles this has not been a good ride.

I don't know exactly what to think about this model of car from my experience it's been a bad dream. Who could have imagined the very first brand new car I ever bought would turn out being more trouble then all the other cars I've ever had combined. Reliable is the last word I would choose to describe it.

If you do decide to purchase one I hope this process does not repeat itself to you. I HIGHLY suggest that the extended warranty will be worth every cent.
