2005 Chevrolet Aveo LS review from North America
"Works for my needs"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far the only problem I've found is that the key gets stuck in the ignition, I find wriggling the shift knob helps remove the key.
General comments?
I purchased this 2005 chevy aveo LS in september of 2005. The a/c went out on my old car and I had an infant. So I needed a more reliable car, I hadnt heard of the aveo until I went to the chevy dealership, the price was good for what I needed the car for, I never had problems with any thing for a while. It drives great, sounds fine. I am 5'4" and 22 years old so the car was a good investment for me. Mostly used to run errands, go to and from work. I personally like the car besides the fact of the key getting stuck sometimes. My friend owns one as well. She hasn't had that problem, but had to jump it a few times if it wasnt driven over a couple days. I never had problems with mine starting. The thing that sucks is we moved to germany and had the car shipped here, it would have still been covered under warranty in the states, but its not being overseas. This was the first car I was able to easily parallel park, wich is amust in germany. I like the fact that it fits in quite nicely over here since the parking spots are rather small so bigger vehicles wouldn't work.
