My heater core went out at about 145,000 miles.
My alternator went out at 149,000 miles.
The headliner is beginning to fall down.
The door panels are warping.
Most of this is general maintenance in my eyes. I really don't have any major complaints.
This car handles and drives VERY well.
It's not all too bad on gas mileage.
This is a very quick little car and I would not trade it for any other car in the world.
The motor and transmission are very strong, and have not given any signs of trouble.

Current vehicle configuration is 2.8 v-6 w/5 speed manual tranni. Car gets excellent gas mileage. Is super-duper smooth and responsive on the highway. It also has good engine power, even with all the miles on it and my current driving habits. Still has good power (I blew away some chick in a new SUV the other day and left her slack-jawed in my rear view mirror.) Cleaned the clock out of one of those phoney-baloney Hondas. Took on a 5.0 mustang (I lost of course) and left the guy giving me a thumbs up for bravery and only a car-length loss.
In sum: Chevrolet did an excellent job engineering the engine, driveline, chassi and suspension. They left the job of interior soft-trim to the first year college grad rookies. I vote that they resurrect the nameplate, and offer it again with more powerful engines, or perhaps a small v-8. The interior trim components could use some new polymer chemistry and some of the hardware components could be re-engineered as well.
If the Beretta had a V8, the Mustang would not have a chance.
THAT IS A FACT.
