1992 Chevrolet Beretta Coupe review from North America
"A very dependable means of transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket had to be replaced at about 125,000 miles.
Air condition compressor had to be replaced at about 130,000 miles.
New clutch, front struts, and starter at 200,000 miles.
Driver side seat has worn badly, but car seat covers have taken care of that.
Alternator has been replaced twice in its life.
General maintenance to include brakes and tires, oil changes.
No other major problems.
General comments?
This is a fantastic car.
I bought this car brand new off of the lot in June of 1992. It is very dependable.
I drive it now as a work car because of the incredible gas mileage it gets still at over 200,000 miles. It gets 35 miles to the gallon easy.
I would definitely buy another Beretta if Chevrolet still manufactured them.
I would never sell this car because although it is old, it is very dependable and it has NEVER left me walking.
Definitely five stars for my Beretta.
