"It's a lot of work to keep a 93 going"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The car gave me problems two years after I bought it. They include:

ABS computer

main computer

water pump

4 thermostats

all the hoses

fan.

The vehicle is still overheating and now we believe everything the we fixed and replaced on it we didn't have to do. We were told that it may be the heater core. any thoughts?

General comments?

This car is my baby and I would hate to get rid of it, but my other half says he's getting sick of fixing this car and wants to run it into the water. All I need are some ideas or someone to tell me if there vehicle has done this to them.

If the car is still overheating, try running without the thermostat for a while.

If the ignition timing is too far retarded, the car may overheat, so you could get that checked.

Also, make sure the radiator itself is clean by spraying water at high pressure onto it to clean the tubes & fins.

The radiator cap might not be working properly, so replace that, it won't be too expensive.

I doubt that the heater core is at fault.
