1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ review from North America
"A great car for a cheap price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced right cv halfshaft at 135,000 miles.
Spark plugs were replaced at 130,000 miles.
Ignition actuator and cylinder at 132,000 miles. Cylinder didn't need replaced, but had already been installed when I found the actuator had broke.
General comments?
This car has been reliable so far. CV halfshaft was replaced due to the outer cv joint boot getting a hole in it and causing the joint to go bad. Either way cv joint replacement is regular maintenance on front wheel drive.
This car is wonderful to drive. The Quad 4 HO motor has V6 power with better than V6 fuel economy. I usually get a combined 28 miles a gallon.
The interior is comfortable pretty spacious for the size of the car.
This car will also out handle most cars on the road. It's put my camaro to shame and rides better.
This car is great for something looking for an import killer. I highly recommend this car to any looking for a good performing four cylinder with great handling.
