1988 Chevrolet Blazer Sierra Classic review from North America

The truck was worn out. Purchased it from a coworker who had the engine rebuilt. They tried everything to get it running and replaced most of the major components on the engine. I bought it and found low fuel pressure and replace the fuel pump. The truck ran great after that. Then the tranny went out. rebuilt it and upgraded it with hardened clutch cases and larger hardened 4x4 gears. Intalled headers, throttle body spacer, MSD Ignition, Pulley underdrive kit, rebuilt the A/C for $175 added heater core bypass valve for better cooling and a Flexalite Flexfan for better idle cooling which made the A/C Work 10 times better, rebuilt the entire front end, Moog ball joints and Energy Suspension bushings, steel braided brake lines that increased stopping power by 30% or 30 foot shorter stopping distance from 100 MPH to stop. Belltech 2" drop spindles in the front and 3" drop blocks in the rear which makes the truck feel safer due to a lower center of gravity, helwig helper springs for a tighter ride in the rear, new shocks.

I paid $600 for the truck and sank $3000 more in parts and it is the BEST automobile I have ever owned. I can outrun the new Nissan 350Z with no problem it handles like a Corvette and rides like a Cadillac. I hate to see bad things written about this truck and to for the record CHEVROLET produces a great product it the morons that drive them that is the problem.
