1998 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hatch electrical at 10,000 Mi.
Air Condition gone at 43,000 Mi.
Alternator gone at 45,000 Mi.
Radiator, water pump, gone at 85,000 Mi.
Front doors rehung at 85,000 Mi.
Engine replaced at 100,000 Mi.
Presently only starts intermittently, gages and display
only come on periodically, starts when they do come on, which is about every 3 days...maybe.
General comments?
This vehicle was well maintained in that oil, and all filters were changed on schedule or better. Only the serious items are listed here. Repair costs over these years was in the thousands. In previous years I have owned at least 7 Chevrolets and developed a faith in them that was destroyed by this one. Reliability does count.
