General comments?
My beef is with the dealer. After finding zillions, (yes, zillions) of Blazer owners on the web with THREE CONSISTENT COMPLAINTS,
1) Door hinges
2) Seat-back adjusters breaking
3) Wheel bearing/hub assembly
The service writer at the dealership (car bought new) denied there were any reported problems in these areas.
Now, I know that stuff breaks, but don't LIE to me...
There is nothing wrong with admitting that 'we guessed wrong on that part...' when it fails, repeatedly, for many, many customers.
I am an engineer by training and know that occasionally, the design is not up to the task.
Pot metal used in places it shouldn't be, un-lubed hinge pins that should be lubed, sealed "maintenance-free" bearings that are under-designed. OK, these things happen. But own up to it, Chevy. Don't disavow the problem.
