1999 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
"Junk"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front bearings twice, ball joints, leaking engine, heat, rear washer motor twice.
General comments?
I purchased my Blazer brand new in 1999. Since the day I purchased it, it has been in the shop a few times each year.
I have replaced the bearings two times on it, and the rear washer motor 2 times on it. I have also replaced ball joints and have heat issues.
The vehicle has leaked oil since basically day 1. Heat issues as well.
The same problems happen over and over with this vehicle. It appears that these are common problems with this vehicle if you read the other comments. I baby my cars and this was the last American vehicle that I will ever purchase. It costs me several thousand dollars each year to maintain this vehicle.
I highly suggest you put your money into a Honda or Toyota. It may be slightly higher on the front end in price, but you will save thousands in the long run. GM needs to make immediate improvements in its vehicle and reputation, or it will surely go bankrupt.
