1995 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4WD review from North America
"Takes a beating and won't stop!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just the other day my idle went up to about 1000 r.p.m. The next day it went up to 1300 r.p.m. I knew I needed a tune-up so I got that done along with a new fuel filter. The plugs and filter made the problem worse. It turned out to be a split intake manifold gasket. The cost was 300 dollars, but the truck runs smooth as anything now and drives beautifully. I also go through brakes too much, but I knew about that when I bought the truck. The alternator also went at 60,000 miles, but that is expected of any vehicle.
General comments?
I'm guessing people only write bad reviews on the internet. I feel like this truck will run for miles and miles. It's very smooth, will beat any other mid-size SUV in a race and has everything I want in an SUV. Maybe the handeling could be better, but who buys a truck for good handeling? I would definantly recommend this truck. Look on the road 8 billion Blazer, Jimmy, Bravada owners can't be wrong!
