1990 Chevrolet Blazer S10 Tahoe Pkg. review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought the car used in 1992.
Water pump in 1994.
Re-paint in 1995 (recall).
Heater core in 1997.
Blower motor in 1998.
Alternator in 1998.
Radiator in 1999.
General comments?
Favorite things: 8 years of near-maintenance-free reliability, lasting style, unbeatable turning radius, and original A/C after 10 years of Texas heat! Perfect size and space for teenager/college student, even now as an older car.
Cons: loud engine, accelerator has always been jumpy, somewhat bouncy ride.
I've heard the new Blazers (1995+) are not as reliable and not as good value for money. Too bad -- I might have bought another one.
