1989 Chevrolet Blazer Tahoe 4x4 review from North America
"This has been a great car for us."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV boot covers have torn and been replaced 3 times. Water pump, alternator been replaced. Starter replaced twice. AC fan replaced twice, fan switch once. AC compressor replaced twice, for r134 conversion to succeed you need to replace the condensor for one with bigger tubes. All parts paid for 1 time, after that it's covered under Autozone lifetime warranty!
General comments?
I love this Blazer. My wife has put it through short trip hell. In the last year, the engine, transmission and interior have really deteriorated so I got her a '99 Blazer and I will completely rebuild this one and drive it myself for another quarter million miles. Except for the CV boot covers I have been the only one to work on this vehicle.
