This is an awesome truck.
Despite all that has gone wrong, I have had no trouble at all doing the repairs myself.
Fast for a small vehicle, the engine is powerful and made from a respectable company (Vortec).
With wide racing performance tires on the back, or a dually, the Blazer handles like a dream.
Uses gas fast, but launches faster!
I have to agree with everything said about the handling and power. I have a '93 S-10 Tahoe LT. I purchased it "pre-loved" at 108,000 miles. I'm at 172,000 now and only had to replace the internal fuel supply lines. I have 265/50 series tires which lowered my truck 2 inches; and yes, it flies around corners. My tranny failed around 130,000 miles, but other than those 2 parts, I have had no major repairs done. As much as I would hate to get rid of her, it just doenst make sense to invest money in an older vehicle... unless your rebuilding a classic. PLH all.
