2000 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America

4WD switch broken at 29000 miles. Warranty fixed.

Rear window washer broken at 29000 miles. Warranty fixed.

Oil cooler lines failed at 30000 miles. Warranty fixed.

Center cap on front passenger wheel has fallen off twice. 30 bucks a pop to replace.

Muffler baffle went bad at 42000 miles. Warranty fixed.

Oil cooler lines are leaking again. They have been since 66000 miles.

Front hub or CV joint (s) are going bad. I now have a vibration and a slight humming coming from the front end.

Transmission or U-joints are going bad. I have a lot of play/clunking in the drive train.

Driver's door hinge is starting to fail.

Need to have cooling system flushed as the rusty colored buildup in the overflow tank has started to worry me. Dex-Cool is notorious for this problem.

I haven't had this vehicle back into the shop yet to fix these repairs. I'm currently in the process of purchasing an extended warranty/service contract to try and cover these repairs before they become serious problems. From the prices I've seen it will probably be well worth it.

Fit, finish, and reliability of the interior has been superb. I've had no problems with anything in this area.

However, an interior doesn't do you much good if you can't drive the car you're sitting in.

I am NOT satisfied at all, and I too owe more than what it is worth or will get for a trade in. Lesson learned.
