1992 Chevrolet Blazer S-10 review from North America
"Fun to drive SUV"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission fluid leaks. Haven't found where it's coming from yet. I add fluid to it about every 2,000 miles or so.
Air conditioner's fan is broken.
Car is hard to crank, always does, but after some "gassing" the engine.
Driver's side window makes a grinding noise.
The upholstery on the door is not attached all the way around.
The front C.V. joint went out at 215,000 miles when I was playing in the mud (there was not much pressure on it, shouldn't have happened). Had it replaced.
Fuel injector was replaced at 150,000 miles.
General comments?
It's a great 4-wheel drive vehicle. I have never been stuck. It has pulled all the trucks and SUV's that have been stuck when I'm around.
Has an awesome turn radius.
This car is quick off the line. Nice power in the 4.3L v6.
Very reliable.
I love being able to pull most anything I need to and still have the power that is fun to drive.
