1998 Chevrolet Blazer LS review from North America
"Needs better engineers"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The day we purchased this car and got it home, the rear seat belt broke when belting a car seat in. Dealer fixed right away.
Rear windshield fluid doesn't work, never has.
Transmission totally replaced at 130,000 miles.
Water pump replaced at 133,000 miles.
Fuel injectors needed cleaning 126,000 miles.
I am now told that my cylinders need replacing.
Something with the intake manifold too.
General comments?
The first 3 years of owning this car have been great! Didn't really have any of the problems as other owners have seem to had. Just major things that cost a lot of money to replace.
The rear seats are kind of crammed.
The seat mover on the drivers side is in an inconvenient spot.
Handles poorly over speed bumps.
Poor horsepower.
However, this vehicle is great for traveling and camping. The back is roomy and the roof rack is nice to have.
