1998 Chevrolet Blazer lt review from North America
"It is a piece of %&* ("
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replace muffler and battery before 36000 miles.
Replaced alternator at 79000 miles.
Replaced air conditioner compressor at 83000 miles.
Replaced radiator at 75000 miles.
Replaced water pump at 85000 miles.
Replaced intake manifold gasket at 88000 miles.
Have experienced numerous electrical problems including window controls intermittently failing and wiper motor problems both front and back.
Heater core is apparently going bad now. This is a job that requires the entire dash to come out to replace due to Chevy's poor design.
General comments?
This car is junk. I have finally learned after driving Chevy's for 30 years that they build poor quality products compared too many other manufacturers. They are now trying to play catch up, but have a long way to go. Sorry Chevy, too late, I have found better manufacturers. I like your new commercials, but I still say you build inferior products.
