1993 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado review from North America
"Awesome!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've gone through...
Two EGR valves (the really expensive linear ones).
One radiator.
A set of front shocks.
A water pump.
A set of brake rotors.
Two rear brake cylinders.
A MAP sensor.
A power brake booster.
And one or two other things.
General comments?
I've owned this truck since it was two years old,
and I plan on keeping it for a very long time.
It's a standard cab Sportside, and in traffic it
accelerates and handles like a fighter jet.
It was repainted in '05 (Hurricane Jeane smacked
it in the face with half of a screen porch!).
But other than that, the paint held up very
well. I plan on restoring it to all
original condition.
