1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS review from North America
"Excellent Camaro"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the fuel pump when I bought the car.
General comments?
I bought this 1992 Camaro RS in 2007 from the original owner. It had 133,411 miles at the time of purchase, and I had to replace the fuel pump to get it to run properly.
Ever since I have been very pleased with my car. I drive it daily to and from work, which is 120 mile round trip per day.
The gas mileage is the surprise. It has a V8 305 TBI and I average 23 miles to the gallon city and highway combined, and have gotten 26 miles per gallon on highway use only. It is in excellent condition and I will pass it on to one of my grand children.
When I hear negative things about this car, I find it hard to accept. Except for the fuel pump (when I bought it), this car has never left me on side of the road. I have had a car do that to me and it is not a good feeling.
