1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS review from North America
"This will be my car forever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Relays, temperature gauge. Primarily because of previous owner. I wore the ball joints, idler arm, bearings, bushing and other misc parts for the under body. At 200,000 what do you expect. For a sports car that is good. My mom has been through 6 cars while I have had this one, and it is still going.
General comments?
It has been a good car. I am an engineer. I have pushed this thing in several limits. Pushed for economy, hyper mile it and you can get 32 MPG; push it and you're lucky to get 12 MPG. It is a fun ride.
Seats have worn out; the kid who had it before me.
The engine has been good, and the tranny has been okay. Rear end, well I snapped the rear LOL. My fault, but no complaints.
Other than the environmentally friendly paint they used that peels, I love this car and will drive it till it falls apart. Insurance is cheap.
