"Worth every penny"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Warped rotors, twice although they were finally replaced with no hassle from the dealership.

Blown clutch (my fault).

Window motors going out.

General comments?

I love this car. It is by far and away the fastest car I could've bought for the money. Also I can make it a lot faster for just a little bit of money.

Bottom line, this car has been great. I will admit that the drivetrain is lacking some durability. With an upgraded clutch and some sticky tires you're going to be hunting for a new rearend before long. The transmissions in the LT1 cars seemed to be a bit beefier than those that are in the LS1's. The few small problems I have had with this car are completely forgotten when I mash the gas pedal and take it through the gears going well over the speed limit with three gears still to go.

I almost forgot to mention the T-tops, I can't believe more cars don't have these. The T-tops do nothing but help the experience. In my honest opinion my car is the best car you can get for the money.

Worth every penny? I don't think so. Camaros aren't that good-looking, let alone very reliable, and I'm speaking of the 1994 through 2002 models when I say that. The older ones, you know?, the I-ROCzs, the much more physically attractive ones than when the new body style came out. Now THAT'S a good-looking car, don't know about the reliablity though since I never drove them so I can't say whether or not they're more reliable than the 1994 through 2002 models, but I will say that they looks better. The new body style looks too aerodynamically generic, so real defintition to it, like the newer Ferraris I've seen at those auto shows. Unlike the older Ferraris and the older Camaros, these newer cars don't have those unique curves and definition to them, now they just look too straight or smooth or whatever. I'm not saying it'd look better being all boxy like the Honda Element, but what I am saying is that aerodymically, they now just look too plain or basic. The new body style Camaro's body is shaped like a carved potatoe or something, non real definition to it.

Ha, I think just the opposite of this other comment. I think the i-roc z's look like crap with crap motors. I recently baught a 1997 Z28 and I love the car. Cheap, reliable, great looks (excpecially with the chrome wheels), and a fast as hell motor to boot. No way would I have gotten any other car.

What do you know dude?

You're saying the camaro is worth nothing because of its looks. Did you honestly expect the camaro to stay looking like the 80s F3 gen until 2002? They're more aerodynamic and in my opinion they look pretty mean in person and with C5 vette rims, they look amazing. You talk about realiability too, have you even owned one?

For the money, its hard to find another RWD, 6 speed, big V8 powered sports car pushing 300 hp and 300 ft/lbs with a ton of potential to go near 500-600 hp with easy bolt ons like superchargers etc...

Very nice deal in my opinion.

"What do you know dude?"

At least as much as you do bro. If you want to drive something that looks like a bar of Dove soap, go ahead.

I love the new Camaro Concept Convertible from the Detroit Auto show. I heard it has a green light to be built. What a great looking vehicle especially from the rear!
