1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 review from North America
"An awesome car for the price!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The '93 and '94 Camaros haev a problem with water getting into the Opti-spark distributor system. A new one of these is $350 by itself. It can be fixed by modifying the drain holes in the bottom (don't attempt this if you don't know exactly what you are doing!).
The the rear transmission mount broke at 150,000 miles.
The power windows went out at 150,000 miles.
General comments?
This is a great car! The 5.7 Liter V8 Vortec has easily knocked out Mustangs, and that's with the automatic!
The acceleration is constant and powerful no matter what the Rpm.
It handles very well, but if it's in the rain it must be driven carefully or it will fishtail.
The T-Tops are very cool, especially in the summer.
