1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 review from North America
"Great unique high performance bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced starter twice, once at 50,000 miles, and once more around 150,000 miles.
Rebuilt the motor because of cam wear, and a few dead cylinders, at 165,000 miles.
Recently been having brake problems.
General comments?
Fun car to drive, looks very cool, very unique design, especially with T-Tops.
Gets people attention, and keeps it until your over the horizon. nice for cruising around town, or short road trips under 200 miles.
Can get about 10 to 15 mpg if driven normal.
Only lap belts, no air bags, or other safety devices.
Can find one in good condition today for under 5,000 with nothing wrong with it, or a "wore" one that still drives great for around 2,000.
