1996 Chevrolet Camaro RS review from North America
"A great car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well just the Catalylic converter went out so I gutted it.
Everything else was routine (clutch, tires, brakes)
I am very hard on this car and it keeps running :)
General comments?
This car is a great performer. The 3.8L engine does not disappoint! It keeps pulling and pulling it's a very fun car.
I have a 1996 Camaro RS with the Y87/ F4 package.
The Y87 is a performance package that includes (Z/28 brakes, Z/28 steering, Dual outlet muffler, Z/28 rear end)
The F4 package is the suspension package that is above the Z/28 but below the 1LE autox/ showroom stock car.
I recommend the borg-warner T-5 5-speed because its just funner to drive :)
