1999 Chevrolet Camaro review from North America
"It definately lives up to its name"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Except or the automatic door locks no unlocking, there is nothing wrong with the car. But the dash collects dust very easily.
General comments?
Good performance, and even for a V-6 it is a pedal to the metal, suck into your seat pure fun of a ride. It corners like a dream, rides like a sportscar should, and runs pretty quiet, unless you really get up on it. The stereo system is very clear and nice bass, and still stock. The steering is a little tight for my liking, but once I got used to it I really didn't notice a difference. It is defenitaly not a travel car, the suspension gives away easily and the car is pretty low to the grould already, hitting a highway bump and 65 makes the back tires rub against the tire well. For a sports car the it is pretty comfortable, and nice to sit in. Really the only fault on the designing of the car is the dash being so large that the sun glares of it horribly, but after a while it doesnt bother me.
