transmission shaky,
oil leaks from both heads.
Exhaust leak from cat leaking into cabin causing health problems.
General comments?
Worst car ever made, ever owned.
Don't care what other people think, these things are tempermental piles of crap, one helluva poor excuse for a "sports car". People say there reliable if well maintained, which basically means devoting 3/4s of your life to the damn thing. If it had the 350 TPI engine I doubt if my review would be this poor, the lt1 is a tempermental, overheaty, misfire prone crap box of an engine. If you want an American car (which I wholeheartidly recommend) GM is great (go buick!!), but stick with 1967-1992 1998-2002 camaros and 'birds, avoid lt1s at all costs. the 3.8 engine is great though, my buick has the supercharged version and it runs unbeleivebly well.
Don't go to dealers!!! theyll run you in circles buying crap you don't need just to earn an extra buck, real enthusiasts work on there own cars!!
If you live in America, buy something made here, Plain and simple!
