1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic review from North America
"Good and solid comfortable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just maintenance upkeep is required.
Replaced the valve cover gaskets as well as the intake manifold gasket, and the front and rear seals.
Other than that, the car runs good.
The body and interior are as new as when my late Father bought it back in 1986. I inherited it in February of 1998, after he passed away.
Prior car owned was a 1980 Impala.
General comments?
Good solid car.
Good gas mileage.
As long as you keep up the maintenance and repairs, this car will outlast even the newer 'tin/beer can' models.
