1990 Chevrolet Caprice Classic review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I decided to buy my caprice I took it to my mechanic:
There was a little leakage at the water pump.
Front pads needed to be replaced.
He also recommended me to replace the tie-rod ends and the belt.
Other than that, nothing else.
Body is still in good shape with original paint and almost no rust.
General comments?
This is a very good car. It has all options except leather. Chromes still shining like day one. Although it has a high mileage engine is running great. It is quiet, powerful and is not burning any oil. (nothing is leaking also) It also has a decent gas mileage: 15-17 miles/gallon.
If you consider the money I paid:2000 CAD it is too much car for this money.
Even I buy a newer car I am planning to keep my caprice forever.
