1987 Chevrolet Caprice classic brougham review from North America

Not much besides ordinary maintenance due to normal wear..belts, brakes, batt.,water pump at around 250km.and like many caprice the dash has cracks here and there.. due to the salt they use in our roads, I had to oil sprayed the car every year.. my dad did a mistake by buying the car new with no posi differential and it is a great miss! in Canada.. the Oldsmobile v-8 307 doesn't care about how very cold or hot it is out here it starts all the time.

Very reliable! after more than 400km I decided to put a rebuilt 1970 oldsmobile 350 and just finished a complete body overall vinyl top included.. I want it to be a reliable sleeper.. even if many of my friends says to get rid of it.. too late I'm in love with this squared back car.. parts are dirt cheap.. and cand find almost anywhere in north america.. i live in north eastern canada and I won't be scared to go across 'till Alaska or California knowing that anyone or me can repair this piece of gem. anywhere you go you can still see caprice on the road and it is the solely proof that caprices were built to last, and lots of us know it.. even people who doesn't know much or nothing about mechanics.. having in mind long lasting for ordinary peoples..I'm not saying that I love the car for the looks since I got 4 of them.. but for the piece of mind that I feel having these big comfortable boats..
