1991 Chevrolet Caprice 9c1 review from North America
"A great Luxury & performance Car at a Great Price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to have the Suspension Repaired (recall), I had to replace one rear shock mount bolt, and replaced the muffler.
General comments?
I was able to purchase this car without any "detuning" that is normally done to retired police cars. The performance has been great. It runs great, and always has plenty of power when needed. It still has that "luxury car" ride, even though the suspension is modified for police work. The interior leaves a lot to be desired, as it came with the standard vinyl seats, and the interior was blue. Unfortunately, blue was not used much in non-police caprices, so it has been difficult to find cloth seats to replace them, but I'm still looking!
