"Good up to 100k and beyond with good care"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter was replaced at 110k
Alternator replaced around 115k
Front passenger barring assembly replaces around 115k
Front passenger Drive axle replaced around 115k
Inner and outer Tie Rod ends replaced around 120k
parts such as brake pads and tires wore normally.
Car was in 2 accidents the first around 50k miles and the second around 120k miles both head on into rocks/trees/fences etc at about 35/40mph and minimal damage occurred. the second accident caused the cross bar on the front and the radiator to be bent up and back and the cars still runs great. no repairs were needed for car to pass inspection.
Oil changed maybe 3/4 times since 90k miles and engine still runs strong. car was good, but its ready to retire. Hardly a problem at all until 100k miles now I'm ready to be done with it.
A great car to buy new, but probably not more than a couple years old car will probably last me a good amount of time longer, but the suspension is now shot and with the smaller things that are starting to go now (ac not cold, some dash lights are not working) its time to move on.
General comments?
Car was beat up, driven hard since new and still gets me 80 miles round trip to work and back every day.
