Brakes went out at 60,000 miles. This was 400 dollars to fix.
Entire Cooling/Vent/Air/Heat System went out at 65,000 miles. This was 1500 dollars to fix.
Radiator blew at 85,000 miles. This could not be fixed.
Transmission and Timing belt went at 90,000 miles. This could not be fixed for less than 2000 dollars.
Windshield wiper motor died at 70,000 miles after only 1 year of use. This little gadget costs 500 dollars to replace.
Interior wears easily.
Dashboard has warped beyond repair.
Trunk and Passenger floor are not waterproof. My last estimate was 1950 to re-line the inside of the trunk and passenger floor.
After owning a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier, I cannot believe these cars were made by the same company!
The 1994 was a wonderful car, but to anyone shopping on a limited budget, please DO NOT buy a 1991 Cavalier. You will more than likely regret it.
I paid 3000 for it 18 months ago. My dealer gave me only 300 for trade.
Your repair prices are extremely exaggerated, suggest you find a new repair shop or learn to work on the car yourself... $400 for a $80 brake job?
