1990 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 review from North America
"Take notice as I swiftly pass you by"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car from a family member who had rear-ended a jeep, so I stated out with the replacement of several front end parts. Once the front end was restored, I started it up. It sounded great and drove great for about 1 week then depression set in.
I had to replace: crankshaft positioning sensor, idle air control valve, water pump, alternator, throttle positioning sensor, fuel rail, computer, and fuel pressure regulator, all within 1 years time. Once all that was completed, I had myself an aggressive sports car. It handled well in the curves and would certainly make you stop and take notice as it raced by.
Unfortunately for me, I am no longer the owner of this sweet little ride. It was totaled by my insurance company last week due to the carelessness of a driver who ran a stop sign.
General comments?
If taken care of this car will perform beyond your expectations.
