General comments?
I bought the car as a left-over 1997 model in the summer of 1998. Upon buying the car, I drove it across Canada (literally East to West), and over the 6 days I found it to be a comfortable, reliable vehicle with OK performance.
Its fuel economy might have been a little high, however the engine was new and not yet broken in, and I understand this to be acceptable.
Overall, I enjoy the car and would recommend the Cavalier to anyone who seeks efficiency, a sporty look, comfort and a nice price tag.
