"Great small-medium sized car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

New engine needed at 123,000 miles.

New exhaust needed at 145,000 miles.

New air conditioner needed at 100,000 miles.

General comments?

The cars design is great. It looks very sporty and it is perfect me.

The seats are very comfortable and have no damage at all. There is a small white stain on the back seats though, and the middle seat belt started to mold. But that was my fault, I forgot to close the window one night.

I get great gas mileage (normally 28 mpg).

Its handling is great. The steering is great, also. I've had hardly any problems with it at all, and all the ones I've had were very minimal.

The cars body is in great condition, but has 3 small scratches on the driver and passenger lock. There is a small chip on top of the roof, too. There is no rust at all.

I've liked this car since I've seen it.

The radio is also very standard, no tape or CD.

The car is tri-toned, White, black and red. It looks very good. I haven't seen any other Cavalier that looks like this one.

I love my RS and I'm willing to keep repairing it till it blows up.

I own a 89 Cavalier RS, and I have had it for 3 years.

I have to replace the front drive train on it, but when done it should be good for at least 10 years, seeing as how everything on it is still original.

Oh yes, I forgot to metion I am running on 3 cylinders not 4 like I should be, and still break the speedo needle. That is a good thing.

It is second best to my 76 Camaro, but that is because the Camaro is older and my first car.

I think Chevy did something right in building the cavalier. The only reason I would get rid of my Cavalier is to trade it for a 76 Camaro.
