1988 Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport review from North America
"Celebrity was the best car sold in 1988"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the computer early on.
Alternator had to be replaced.
The cooling fan was replaced once.
The timing gears were replaced.
I replaced the muffler twice.
The front brake pads were replaced
and the rotors turned about every 33000.
The headliner was replaced and cost $125.
I bought one new battery.
The wiring in the drivers' side door had
to be repaired.
The drivers' side door latch needed replacing.
General comments?
This car was very, very dependable.
It was a Trooper and a Survivor.
The white paint and interior looked good even when I traded it off.
It was an economical, reliable Best Buy.
I saw it in a Mall Parking Lot last summer and left a note for the owner. It was like seeing a long lost friend.
