2005 Chevrolet Cobalt review from North America

This car is driving me crazy

when I first bought it there were small things that needed to be checked out. touch ups, and there was a belt loose all which were corrected at time of purchase.

At 15000 miles I had the car in to get checked out because it was making a strange whistling noise in low gears. apparently I have the hearing of dog because the dealer said there was no noise. but I still hear it every day.

At 30000 miles the power steering would fail almost randomly. I took it in and the replaced a sensor of some sorts... the car lost power steering a couple weeks ago once again, but this was the only instance after the replacement of the sensor

at 34000 miles the slave cylinder went bad I was driving and the clutch peddle just lost all pressure it is still in the dealership while they are trying to get parts for it... it went in 5 days ago!!! they said it should be done tomarrow, but who knows I'm rather frustrated with chevy!

i grew up in a chevy family in my life (21 years) we have owned a corvette, 2 cavilers, 2 caprice station wagons, a 1500 van, a camaro, a lumina, a monte carlo ss, a S-10, and now my cobalt, anything prior to 1994 was reliable for us I should have taken a hint when my dad bought a honda 3 years ago...
