1994 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"This car is a beast!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cracked windshield.
Dent in left side, and no side view mirror.
Recently at around 172k miles, car isn't able to drive over 50 mph. It rattles really bad, especially when gas is depressed.
Ceiling cloth has come down from moisture.
Seats are worn.
A/C and heat doesn't work and hasn't worked ever since I've owned it.
Forgot to put coolant in it and it burnt it out, but it was no big deal.
Also had a really bad leak, also easy fix.
General comments?
This car, which I still own, is my first car that I got for $500. It's been a VERY reliable car. It's been worth ever cent. Has not had any problems except the most recent one (which is probably because the car is so old) I've listed and what it already had when I bought it (Dents, missing side mirror, and no working A/C or heat). It drives like a beast. Up until recently, it's acceleration was really good for it's age. And it has this beautiful roar to it, probably because it's a V6. The handling I think is pretty good for how old it is, and the type of car it is. It has beautiful sound (sound system wise). I don't know if that was original to car or not. It's horrible on gas though.
I would definitely recommend this car for a first cheap car. And the car after 175k miles, and 13 years of rough use STILL drives!!!
