The original blower motor failed a month after I got it.
The head gasket blew at 155,000 miles.
Much of the interior started to wear badly, but not the seats.
Both the doors on the driver's side of the car are defective.
I can say that I have beaten this car for about 8,000 miles. For what I have done to it, it still runs pretty good. I have attempted to drag any car off the line. I have yet to win. It is an overall slow car due to its 2.2 liter four cylinder motor.
However, it is a very comfortable car. The fuzzy blue seat covers are the best. It rides very smooth.
I have had my mechanic modify the old, ugly Corsica, into a new, nice looking Corsica. The black trim on the car was taken off and the whole car was painted the original light blue color. The only black left on the car is the runners on the bottom of the sides of the car. Add a bra, and you have got yourself a sporty little beast.
I have a 300 watt stereo system with a Pioneer deck in my car. It sounds really nice from the inside. The only downfall of the car is that the trunk rattles horribly when the volume is cranked.
This is a cool car.
To the reviewer- do you mean Corsica "LT"? LX is a trim line Ford has used frequently, but the Corsica is a GM product. And to the best of my knowledge, there never was a Corsica LX.
