1992 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"A cheap, reliable, first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The odometer quit working at 86,000 miles. (The following mileages are estimates)
Have had to replace:
alternator at 90k miles
water pump at 100k miles
2 heater hoses at 85k and 90k miles.
Rear shocks (casing rusted off)
break hoses.
The driver seat sits tilted to the side.
The oil began leaking in 2002.
Even after new breaks, they fill felt squishy.
General comments?
It is a fast car for being so old.
The interior fabric and dash has stayed
in excellent condition.
The paint job is well done.
Great gas mileage.
Handles well.
