1994 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"Takes all the abuse you can give it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The alternator went bad at about 30,000 miles, but I've had no problems with the new one.
I replaced the transmission at approximately 120,000 miles.
The paint started peeling at 90,000 miles. I have since had it repainted.
General comments?
This car has a lot of pep! It has always been easy to accelerate hard in order to merge onto freeways or pass slower vehicles. I never have to worry about it bogging down.
I have driven it very hard over the years and I'm amazed at how little has gone wrong with it.
The only thing I would have done differently would have been to install the optional anti-sway bars. This car dives while cornering which causes tire wear and doesn't produce the best handling in the world.
So far I haven't been able to drive the wheels off of this thing -- and believe me, I've tried.
