1994 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"HORRIBLE"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Belt broke at 1000 miles.
At 3 years approximately 20,000 miles air conditioner started acting up.
Brakes need replaced constantly.
At 35,000 miles water started leaking into car.
Seats started getting saggy at 40,000 miles.
Cracks occurred in the dashboard at 40,000 miles and cracks in trim on door.
Window on passenger side started acting up and did not want to roll up after 45,000 miles.
Power steering leak at 50,000 miles.
Squeaks and groans of car at 20,000 miles.
Car went on fire at 60,000 miles with no warning, but a problem with power steering the day before.
General comments?
This car is a safety hazard. I truly believe that there is a defect that causes the fire in the car. I have read a few reviews where people have similar problems and then lose their car to fire (everything, but the trunk goes up!) What has Chevrolet been hiding? The car is cheap and just will suck the money out of you. Very disappointed in how things just went very quickly in this car. I had this car serviced at regular intervals and treated it great, but it was one problem after another. NEVER WOULD I BUY FROM CHEVROLET AGAIN. I ALMOST LOST MY DAUGHTER TO A FIRE CAUSED BY THEIR CAR!! BUYER BEWARE!
