1990 Chevrolet Corsica LTZ review from North America
"A+++++ Car, Top notch power, price and comfort!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My blower motor had to be changed at 190000 kms.
Front brakes done at 201000 kms.
Back breaks done at 234000 kms.
New motor mounts at 235000 kms.
Cracked front portion of frame replaced at 210000 kms.
Front passenger side axle broke at 214000.
Vacuum hose kept popping out of place until fixed at 230000 kms.
Bottom passenger side (underneath car)
is rusted right out) whole floor needs to be replaced. Which I will do, when I have the money.
Body starting to slowly rust, starting near the gas tank and rear doors.
General comments?
Despite all the problems mentioned above this car is amazing! I am extremely rough on vehicles and my Corsica lasts though nearly everything!
I put 62000 kms on it in approx. 13 months and have driven it in all kinds of weather and road conditions. The engine is extremely strong, the body is still pretty good (the car's previous owner did no upkeep to this car). The engine oil is black, but nothing stops this car! (I did an oil change two times in the past year). The Corsica handles extremely well on the highway and city streets. I would never want another car, Corsica's are the best! The Corsica is very comfortable, sporty and fairly cheap on gas. Thank you Chevy for making this car!!
