1988 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"Cheap and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
ECM module at 110,000 miles, $400.
Alternator.
Starter brushes.
Washer fluid pump.
Thermostat.
Coil.
General comments?
Excellent Car!
Very reliable.
If you are handy you can fix just about anything on the car yourself, although replacing the ignition coils really SUCKS because they're under the intake manifold.
I POUND this car daily in city driving and it still keeps going. It WILL NOT DIE! It's a shame that the performance is lacking so badly. The car is a real pig if you give'r the gas. Pro-Long treatment and a reversed air cleaner seem to give the car some more beans though. And the rally brake is fun as hell on icy roads or gravel :)
