2002 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible review from North America
"Reliable and Practical "Super-Car""
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Recall on the steering column. That's all.
General comments?
I "upgraded" from a '94 Corvette to this 2002 C5. I use this car on weekends and nice days. Each generation of Corvettes get better. This car is comfortable, powerful and a sheer top-down pleasure to drive. I love the heads-up display and complete array of gages and instruments. This one is bright "resale" red and is beautiful to look at. Performance is awesome yet docile when it needs to be. Gas mileage is terrific, typically 25mpg+ on the highway. Depreciation is minimal and owning a Corvette puts you in an automotive "family" of other friendly owners. If I had to drive it every day I could, it is that practical to drive.
